25th October 2025 Thousands of demonstrators took part in the Scotland Demands Better march and rally, calling on politicians to deliver better jobs, greater investment in essential public services, and stronger social security. The event was organised by the Poverty Alliance with support from the Scottish Trades Union Congress, affiliated unions, and a wide range of community, faith, and grassroots organisations.
