Cameron Scott is a South Lanarkshire-based documentary photojournalist who captures the raw energy of civil unrest and social movements across Scotland. His style is defined by an immersive wide-angle perspective and low viewpoint, intentionally placing viewers within the crowd to create a sense of presence and emotional urgency. Eschewing high-end full-frame gear in favour of portable Lumix systems, he prioritises speed and proximity to document what he describes as “visual memories” of urban struggle and community-led activism. His portfolio includes intimate coverage of the Glasgow Street Aid medical charity and is showcased on non-profit platforms such as Progressive Street and the Centre for British Documentary Photography, highlighting humanitarian efforts and social change. His photojournalistic work is distributed worldwide through ZUMA Press News Wire.
