15th January 2026 - Activists and members of the Iranian community demonstrated in front of the U.S. Consulate in Edinburgh, calling for international pressure against human rights abuses following reports of mass killings of protesters in Iran. They also called for recognition of the right to peaceful protest, support for a democratic transition, and access to uncensored information and open communication.
