Hundreds of protestors gathered in Glasgow as part of co-ordinated UK-wide demonstrations called by The Great British National Strike, protesting against the UK Labour government's policies, targeting illegal immigration, a perceived 'two-tier' justice system, while also advocating for reduced immigration and a withdrawal from the European Court of Human Rights. This was met with a counter-demonstration by Stand Up To Racism Scotland and other allied organizations, aiming to challenge what they perceive as divisive and xenophobic narratives.
