3rd May 2026 -Â Glasgow Trades Council May Day Parade. Hundreds of trade unionists took part in the Glasgow Trades Council May Day parade to mark International Workers Day. The theme of this years march, The Fight of Our Lives, highlighted challenges facing trade unionists, including the rise of the far right, falling living standards and Donald Trumps renewed imperialism and its implications at home.
