16th August 2025 - The campaign group Gaza Genocide Emergency Committee held a national demonstration under the banner “End Gaza’s Hunger Games.” Thousands of activists joined the protest, some carrying pots and Aid for Gaza bags, to draw attention to concerns over food shortages in Gaza and to call for the UK government to impose economic sanctions and an arms embargo.
