Fans of Glasgow Celtic FC gathered in their thousands at the Merchant City and Trongate areas of the city to celebrate after their team lifted the Scottish Premiership trophy. The unofficial celebrations took place against a background of concerns raised by Police Scotland, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Celtic FC and local residents' associations over fears of disruption for residents and businesses and also concerns over the fans' safety.
