7th September 2024 - Glasgow's George Square hosted a significant anti-fascist demonstration organized by Stand Up to Racism Scotland, attracting around three thousand activists who overshadowed a smaller, far-right rally of around three hundred participants. The protests were mostly peaceful, with police making only two arrests and using containment tactics to maintain order between the opposing groups.
